Mark 6:47-48 says, "And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and He alone on the land. And He saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them"
This is one of my favourite Bible passages.
Jesus saw them toiling and rowing. The disciples didn't see Him, but He saw them. And guess what else? He never took His eye off them.
What was Jesus doing when He sent the disciples on a boat journey and He went up the mountain? He was interceding for them. Hebrews 7:25 says, "Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Are you in the midst of a storm? Jesus is watching over you, and He is praying for you. You can say, "His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me."
